A link that asks "do you still have these?", with disputes routed to a person and a custody sheet for leaving day.
Ask someone to confirm
Open a person’s page and press Ask to confirm. They get a link (no app, no account) listing what the register says they hold, and confirm from their phone. The same My things link lets them say something’s returned or extend a due date.
What a dispute means
If they dispute an item, nothing changes on its own. It appears on Today with Check the shelf, and a person decides: return it, hand it to someone else, or write it off. The logbook only records what someone actually chose.
Offboard someone cleanly
The person’s page lists everything they hold. Return each item as it’s handed back, and open an item’s Custody sheet for a printable record of who held it and who signed.
