BoxHero is a likeable quantity-stock tool with one of the cleaner interfaces in this market. The honest difference is the meter and the job. BoxHero bills per member and per thousand items on top of its base plan, and it records stock in and out rather than who has what. ItemTally charges one flat number per plan and tracks custody.

The structural difference
BoxHero’s model is base price plus meters: $30/mo covers three members, a thousand items and three locations, then it’s $5 per member, $10 per 1,000 items and $10 per 10 locations. That’s a fair starting bundle. The catch is what grows with you: people and items both move the bill.
ItemTally plans are flat: €19/mo covers up to 5 editors, 50 borrowers and unlimited items, and €49/mo covers an unlimited team. Your ten-thousandth item costs what your first one did, nothing.
The job matters as much as the price: BoxHero records stock moving in and out, and adds purchases and sales on top. ItemTally records stock and who has each thing, until it comes back. If nothing you own ever leaves with a person, BoxHero is a fine fit.
