Questions people ask
Is ItemTally for stock or for equipment?
Both, in one register. Counted stock has quantities, units and minimums; unique equipment has a holder, a due date and its own history. The same scan works on either.
Do I need special hardware?
No. Any phone camera scans QR codes and barcodes in the browser. Labels print on A4 sheets from an office printer or on a Brother label printer, and a USB scanner gun works too.
Do the people who borrow things need an account?
No. Everyone gets a private My things link in their receipt and reminders. Borrowers who take things themselves need a borrower seat; viewers and hand-overs by editors are free on every plan.
Is it an ERP?
No. There are no sales orders, invoices, purchasing or shipping. ItemTally keeps track of what you have, where it is and who has it.
