The no‑ambush pledge.

This industry has a habit of turning on its customers: plans retired overnight, registers resold as tiers, exports locked behind goodbye calls. We built ItemTally to be the tool that never does that, and wrote it down so you don’t have to take our word for it.

Items are never metered.
Ten things or ten thousand, the price is identical. Your inventory growing is your success, not our billing event.

In practice
- Unlimited items on Shelf, Stockroom and Warehouse
- No item tier, no SKU count, no per-item add-on
- Plans are priced by editors and borrowers, and nothing else

Your price never rises on you.
The rate you join at is yours for as long as you stay. No “your plan has been retired” email, not here, not ever.

In practice
- If our plans change, nobody is moved by force
- No feature your plan includes today moves behind a higher plan
- New prices only ever apply to new customers

Your data is never hostage.
Leaving must always be easy. That is what keeps us honest.

In practice
- Full CSV export on every plan, the free one included
- Export works before, during and after you cancel
- Cancelling is a button, not a phone call
- Stop paying and the workspace becomes a Shelf; nothing is deleted

It is part of the terms.

The pledge is written into the terms of service you sign up under. It covers pricing and your data. It doesn’t override the rest of the agreement, such as the acceptable-use rules.

If it ever changes, you’ll know.

This page is dated and versioned. A new version is announced to every customer, and the previous one stays public.
